Items that are currently in stock are dispatched within 2 business days after the placement of your order, usually by the following business day. All Made-to-Measure/custom orders will be dispatched as soon as item is completed, which generally takes 2-3 weeks. After the product leaves Thick As Thieves, standard USPS or UPS shipping times apply, which depends on your location and the volume being handled by USPS and UPS at the time of order.
It's important to us that the product you receive is of both good quality and fits you correctly. We've put together some Returns & Exchanges guidelines to make sure that this happens.
Please note that different terms and conditions apply to Made to Measure/custom made items, as these are all made to order; please see point 11 below.
- If you wish to return or exchange your item for a different size, this must be within 20 days of the date of invoice.
- For your protection, we recommend that you obtain evidence of posting returned goods via your selected carrier, which will enable you to claim should the goods be lost or delayed in the post. Thick As Thieves will not accept responsibility for any goods until we receive them.
- Once we've received your item, you can either:
- Exchange it for a different size, or;
- Receive credit to the equivalent value.
In all item exchange scenarios, the following applies:
- All items must be in resalable condition (i.e. in precisely the same condition they were dispatched to you in).
- Clothing must be unworn and unmarked. Tags must NOT have been removed or tampered with.
- We can only accept returned items when the original invoice/dispatch note received with the order has also been returned.
- We regret that postage and packaging costs can only be refunded if the return results from either an error made by Thick as Thieves or a faulty item.
- You must notify us in advance (via acknowledged email or mail) before returning any item. Please state the order reference number. We will then send you a Returns Authorization Number. We regret that we can't accept your return without this.
- Please write the Returns Authorization Number on your Invoice.
- Please package the item securely, Thick As Thieves cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to the item during return transit; for this reason, you may wish to consider insuring your return.
- If you are returning items from outside the USA please write on the customs declaration form: 'MAIL ORDER GOODS RETURNING FOR EXCHANGE/REFUND - DO NOT CHARGE DUTY'. PLEASE NOTE: Any import duty charged to us on returned goods may be deducted from any refund or charged to your credit card if these steps are not taken. Returned goods are still your property until we receive them in good order.
- Exchanges will be dispatched 5 to 10 business days from date of the returned item receipt.
- Goods can be exchanged once; subsequent exchanges will be subject to a $50.00 restocking fee.
- Made-to-Measure custom items cannot be returned unless Thick As Thieves has made an error during production so please be very careful when indicating specific measurements. Thick As Thieves will carefully re-measure all custom items before shipping to insure that you receive the item that you ordered with all corresponding measurements.
Please note that all shipments to non-US / Rest of World destinations may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. |
